For Patients

For Ontario residents with a valid health card, our second opinion service is completely free through OHIP coverage. For patients outside Ontario, the cost is $600 per review. Virtual review sessions are also available at $600 for a 20-minute session with a specialist.
We provide second opinions on a wide range of imaging studies including MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, mammograms, and nuclear medicine studies. Our team covers multiple subspecialties including neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, body imaging, cardiothoracic, breast, pediatric, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine.
Yes, you'll need to upload your imaging studies for our radiologists to review. You can upload images directly through our secure portal from a CD or via PocketHealth. If you need help retrieving your images from a hospital or clinic, our concierge team will assist you through the entire process.
While a referral is not strictly required to initiate the process, we strongly recommend involving your primary care physician or specialist. The final report is sent directly to your referring physician to ensure seamless follow-up care and coordinated treatment planning.
If you have your images on a CD, you can upload them directly through our secure patient portal. Simply insert the CD into your computer, navigate to the upload section, and follow the step-by-step instructions. Our support team is available to help if you encounter any issues during the upload process.
If your images are available on PocketHealth, you can securely share them with us through our portal integration. During the upload process, select the PocketHealth option and follow the prompts to authorize access. Your images will be securely transferred directly to our system for review.

For Physicians

A formal referral helps streamline the process and ensures the report is directed to the appropriate physician. We accept referrals from family physicians and specialists across Canada. While patients can initiate the process themselves, having a referral ensures better coordination of care and faster report delivery.
The detailed report is sent directly to the referring physician listed on the referral form. Patients can also access their reports through our secure portal. We ensure all communications comply with privacy regulations including PHIPA and PIPEDA. Reports are delivered via secure email and are also available for download from our portal.
Most reports are completed within 48 hours of receiving the imaging studies. Urgent cases can be expedited - please indicate urgency when submitting the referral. We'll notify you as soon as the report is ready for review. Our team prioritizes timely delivery to support your clinical decision-making.
Our team covers 8 major subspecialties including Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Radiology, Cardiothoracic Radiology, Breast Radiology, Pediatric Radiology, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine. Each study is reviewed by a fellowship-trained radiologist with deep expertise in the relevant subspecialty.
You can submit referrals through our secure online portal. Simply create an account, fill out the referral form with patient information, and upload the imaging studies. Our system supports uploads from CDs, DICOM files, and integrations with PocketHealth. Our support team is available to assist with any technical questions.
